Southern Maryland Brew & BBQ is a craft beer, food and music festival located in Historic Leonardtown, Maryland…  

Full Effect Live! Entertainment Group is pleased to bring to Southern Maryland a nationally sanctioned Kansas City Barbecue Society competition as featured on the Food Network and Destination America's BBQ Pitmasters. Southern Maryland Brew & BBQ is a three day festival featuring a variety of events, attractions, food and entertainment for all ages.  The setting is the St. Mary's County Fairgrounds situated just sixty miles south of our Nation's Capital on Maryland's middle peninsula. Join us for a weekend packed with live music, games, unique vendors, fantastic food and a delicious craft beer and wine garden.

A special thanks to all our flag and tent suppliers that help us put on a smooth and successful fair every year on the Maryland Peninsula. They go out of their way and the extra mile to provide us with outstanding service and products. Flags are provided by our longtime supplier BandShoppe. Special thanks to our tent provider: rei.com. Feather Flags were supplied by our trusted vendor Vispronet. Vispronet's custom feather flags could be spotted throughout the festival showgrounds showcasing our lead performers throughout the weekend. Most of the tables were supplied by our trust supplier Lifetime.com.

TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE AT THE GATE

All online ticket sales are Will Call only. You will not receive physical tickets in the mail. At the time of the event, enter through the Will Call entrance with proper ID and a copy of your receipt.

A separate VIP entrance will be available for all VIP guests.

• Community Support:  The Southern Maryland Brew & BBQ partners with many local non-profit organizations.  A portion of the festival proceeds directly benefits these partners and their worthwhile charities.
• All sales are final, no refunds. This is a rain or shine event! Feel free to bring a lawn chair to listen to the music. No tents allowed. No coolers or outside food allowed. No pets allowed.

• Food Court:  Many local food vendors offering traditional Southern Maryland favorites as well as award winning BBQ from several competing teams!
• Shopping & Crafts:  Southern Maryland is well known for its local artisan and crafters.  It’s your opportunity to see what they have to offer!
• Craft Beer & Wine Garden:  With over 30 craft and micro brews on tap and local wineries pouring their best varietals our garden is sure to impress!
• Kid’s Zone:  Full Effect Live! is committed to making the Southern Maryland Brew and BBQ Music Festival an annually family-friendly event. To that end, we have contacted multiple carnival type organizations to bring child-friendly entertainment to our festival. All of these organizations are booked for the weekend we will host our event this year. In fact, most have several year contracts already booked for the future. We have identified 3-5 companies that we will continue to work with to bring this type of entertainment to our event for next year and on. So please accept our apologies for not hosting the child-friendly environment we envisioned for this year, but understand that we will bring this aspect back in 3rd Annual Southern Maryland Brew and BBQ Music Festival in 2016.
• Live Music & Entertainment:  The main stage is packed with the best talent throughout the entire event!  Daily lineup and headliners will be posted soon!

• National Sanctioned Kansas City Barbeque Society Competition:  Competing BBQ teams spend the weekend slicing, seasoning and sizzling pork, chicken and beef in hopes that their cooking will earn them a portion of the $16,500 in cash prizes and braggin’ rights on the Kansas City Barbeque Society (KCBS) BBQ Circuit!  Click here to register.
